Super late on posting this, but didn’t want to forget all of the fun we had in January of this year.  On New Year’s Day, Shiloh and I spent some time at Pearl Brewery in San Antonio with my family, while Ben and Phoenix stayed home and rested.

Later that week Ben, Shiloh, Phoenix, and I headed to Dallas for two days to meet with our team at Children’s Health.  We were so nervous about this visit and all we would learn about MIBG Therapy, but made the most of it and ended up having a great time together.

On Shiloh’s 5th (!) birthday we had a playdate with dear friends, and then went to Target for Shiloh to pick out her gifts.

We had Shiloh’s birthday party at The Little Gym this year, and it was so fun!  She chose a kitty theme, and we invited family, friends, and school friends.  We didn’t think that Phoenix would be able to go due to his compromised immune system, but our doctor insisted that he go and have fun.  I am so thankful for that- he hasn’t been to a party or around that many children in over a year, and he had a blast!

We had a great afternoon meeting my parents for lunch in Gruene to celebrate my dad’s birthday.

And, of course, we had fun playing at home together.  The big thing this month was “dinosaur egg hunts” in the house.  So fun!
