Although we were all recovering from not feeling well the day before, we still managed to have a sweet and simple Valentine’s Day at home. Ben surprised the kids and I with sweets in the morning when we woke up, and then Shiloh and I headed off to school and work.
Shiloh had her Valentine’s party at school.
And then we headed home for a little Valentine’s party of our own. I rented a new movie (“Storks”) for Shiloh and Phoenix to watch, we had a simple dinner, cupcakes, and a little gift for each of them to open.
Such a sweet day. I love Valentine’s Day and the reminder to show the people you care about some extra love.
